UConn returning home after a tough road loss to Seton Hall.  Unfortunately, I see us losing this game by double digits.

For those of you who are unfamiliar, this game's problem in the paint is Adama Sanogo (6'9", 240 lbs.).

I think we need to go big to start this game due to UConn’s size. We should start:

Posh
Wusu or Mathis
Champagnie
Wheeler
Soriano

I think that will be the starting lineup. Wheeler has been earning CMAs confidence. Soriano needs to learn not to pick up stupid, unnecessary fouls.

One of our biggest problems is that we don't box out and prevent offensive rebounds. Providence killed us on the offensive boards. We need to keep UCONN out of the paint.

Let’s switch things up a bit and come out in a tough zone.  Go back to man D when appropriate.

Agree with GB, our letting other teams offensive rebound has been awful.

Too many extra looks at the basket for opponents. rebounding is technique (boxing out), but also heart and desire to fight for the ball.

Sure, every once in a while a long shot leads to a wayward ball for another offensive possession, but in our case, just too much failing to fight for the ball.

One of the main reasons/causes for us being weak in preventing offensive rebounds is our poor have court defense. We scramble too much. Scrambling caused by poor fundamentals. In our case we reach too much which allows excessive dribble penetration, slower rotations and a poor job guarding the pick and pop. This can be corrected and once done our ability to prevent offensive rebounds will greatly improve.
