Did anyone notice Champy yelling for the ball when Smith was dribbling late in the 2nd?  Seems like Smith does not like to pass to Champy, even though he had 6 assists tonight.

Wusu is a tough, valuable and clutch player - but cannot be allowed to handle the ball. Routinely dribbles into traffic as does Coburn and a few others.

Soriano needs to be told that he either rebounds or sits.

Team needs to understand the importance of getting layups or fouls - especially when shots aren't falling. Stops other team from getting comfortable and gaining momentum.

Only good thing that I saw was that they seem to cover the 3 better in the 2nd half.

I know Champagnie filled up the stat sheet, had his 20 points, and helped us down the stretch to the win. But man, I kept waiting for him to take over. He still can't create his own shot. Can't break down a defender 1 on 1. He really just has to score in the flow of the game.

3-way tie with the above and committing 5 turnovers down the stretch trying to protect the lead. Five turnovers all of the non composed variety. Maybe a timeout after the second one could have avoided the last three.

The rebounding was pitiful.

When we made the comeback, we didn't really get better on the boards, as much as we took potential rebounds away.  St. Francis turned it over a lot, and we converted them into baskets, so there were not many rebounds to get.

Making blanket statements about how the team is going to play all year off games like FDU and STF  is so Redmen.com.

great passion here but the level of the way people get carried away at times can  be a head scratcher

I don't buy into the playing down to level of comp theory so much.  Think they'd want to stuff the stat sheet like they did vs. MVS. Perhaps opening game but after a tough loss to Indiana and dreadful showing vs. FDU you've got to have fire in the belly no matter who you play.

Champ again w big stats but watching the game you would not have known it or thought he was the leader.

Ugly. Of all things the rebounding worries me the most. let’s get healthy and take care of NJIT.
