I learned you can play video games with Vince Cole for a fee. These athletes already profiting from NCAA rule change

Who would pay money to play video games with Vince Cole?  Whats next?  We can pay to do yoga with John McGriff?

Isn't it a bit too optimistic to think SJU can sell their image in NYC as the media capital of the world when we can't even sell a horde of tickets to our own fans?   If fans won't pay to see our guys actually play basketball, how valuable can their likeness be?

I'm not sure NYC is a big draw on this subject.   Just like e-companies like Amazon have destroyed brick and mortar establishments, does location really matter anymore in terms of visibility?

My apologies if this has already been mentioned in this thread, but where is Repole in all this? He seems like a guy with a massive ego who wants to make St. John's a winner and take credit for it. Isn't this his big opportunity? Come play basketball in Queens and get a billion dollar endorsement deal with Vitamin Water.

The main issue Beast is that we haven’t had a successful program in a long time. If the rule was passed in our glory days do you think Mullin, Berry and Jackson would have been able to sell their likeness??? How about Ron Artest? I would say yes, definitely. It all comes down to winning. If we get back to winning Big East titles and being a ranked team every year the opportunities will be there. In New York , if you’re not winning there are too many other things for people to do to occupy their time so they don’t come. If we win and are ranked the Garden will be packed. That’s what it all comes down to.

And we'll be hearing updated Will Wade audio.... "Uncle Jed's Jambalaya over on Main Street behind the post office, made a strong ass offer for us."

That has everything to do with Master P being his dad, they essentially signed Master P.  Guarntee you in any commercial or any promotions they do Master P will be alongside him or his name heavily mentioned.  Smart idea by that company they kill 2 birds with one stone, they get all of Master P's following to help with their promotions, while getting a good reputation by supporting HBCU's and going to get a following from that.
