Would Willard be interested in moving to Chestnut Hill ???

Willard is having much more success at Seton Hall than he would have at BC. In fact, most of the teams that left the "old" Big East for "greener pastures" have not fared nearly as well in basketball in the ACC. BC, Syracuse, Pitt, and Notre Dame are schools that immediately come to mind. All were formidable in the BE, not so much nowadays.

I don't see any way Lavin gets back into coaching

Post St. John's firing Lavin may have been passed over for the Cal and UWashington head jobs.

Both places would have been great for his lifestyle outside of basketball. I think he would have done better at Washington than Cal, though.

Lavin is excellent in the booth.  He's easy to listen to, seems to root for the kids, and will mention a bad call if he sees it.  That's all i really want from an announcer.  I know he probably wasn't a contender for the Udubb job, but I bet they wouldn't mind him walking through that door instead of Hop.
