Julian Champagnie just got a first round grade for the 2022 nba draft by Bleacher Report & Jonathan Wasserman

27. Denver Nuggets: Julian Champagnie (St. John's, SF, Junior)Twin brother Justin received more national recognition in the ACC, but scouts are also tracking Julian for his superior shooting. The 6'8" wing hit 2.4 threes per game and should be a 20-point scorer next year in the Big East.

LoL I was about to say. Why would they tout him as a 20 PPG scorer in the Big East best year in a summary of him getting drafted this year.

I didn't want to post this but I've been thinking about it for awhile.

Is Julian miffed at all about the great year he had yet he was still 'snubbed' for many things.  Led BE in scoring but wasn't unanimous 1st team.  Therefore didn't win BE POY.  Didn't win Haggerty.  Just wonder we all felt he was 'the man' for us and did amazing this year but for all of that he still came up short.

Maybe I'm bored too

I think that Julian will listen to his parents advice.
There are so many sound reasons for him to stay
in college for another year and he has the
right parents with the right value system.

I have enough confidence in our coach and the
staffs recruiting ability, that more good stuff is in the works.
Let's just all stay healthy and  enjoy a banner year because

WE DESERVE IT !!!!

We can speculate based on past articles, but we don't 100 percent know what that advice is, though.

Are they giving the same advice to each son?

Personally, I don't see that.  He lost out to older players (POY) and Haggerty to a senior that had a comparable season.  He received plenty of accolades, including consistent coverage from the NY Post praising him, which probably matters most for a NY kid that was an under-the-radar recruit.  And if he returns those accolades are only going to increase ten-fold leading up to the season and, potentially, more accolades and exposure if he has a good year.  He's going to be the presumptive POY (perhaps along with Gillespie) if he returns.

Hope So. All parents love to see their children play together
as  teammates.
Practically all of Pitts starters have left.  So if his brother remains

in college why not with his brother , near home, near his folks, MSG
and big city exposure for basketball and future business connections.

Source: St John’s star Julian Champagnie has received an invite to NBA Combine. He won’t be making a decision about his future before it. #sjubb. Deadline to stay in draft or return to school is July 7.

Told that Julian's twin brother Justin has also recieved an invite to combine. Justin Champagnie has signed with an agent and is not returning to school.
