Wow.....sometimes I think this country is just begging for that second wave of infections.

Or people are ready to enjoy themselves and not live in fear of something that may never happen and if it does, 99% will be over it in a few days.

Not only that Duke but I think a lot more people have had this than we know and They probably have antibodies. If that’s the case , we will have more cases in the fall but it might not be as bad as they are assuming. CDC is now saying the main issue is person to person contact and that the chance of getting it off a surface are not nearly as high as they originally thought. That being said, just require all fans to where masks in the arena. I’m not trying play down the amount of death that this virus has caused and I pray for all those lost and their families, we know now that it’s person to person contact and not as much surfaces etc. Knowing that we can take the necessary precautions before entering the arena. If people are in a high risk category then they know what their personal risk is and they can act accordingly. If attending is too much of a risk for them then that’s totally understandable and they shouldn’t attend regardless. But I think this can be done. This Oxford vaccine looks very promising and it’s entering phase 2 and Phase 3 trials already. They just announced it this morning. So who knows. Maybe by the fall we’ll have some real effective therapeutics if not a vaccine. Let’s hope.

A tad of accurate testing might have value.

My former SJU professor was on CNN town hall last night with Anderson Cooper. Nice shout out to the school as they had "St. John's University" under him while he spoke. Great guy!

Yeah, I really want to enjoy my life again, 2020 is the most depressing year so far, just hope we could have a better 2nd half of the year.

Glad to see things getting back to (a new) normal. Be safe, be vigilant and protect yourself based on your own risk factors. Don't want to go to a game because you think it's unsafe? Then don't go. I, for one, take much of what the elected officials and even scientists(the same ones who told us to not wear face masks back in March) say with a grain of salt. Amazing to me how many sheep there are out there.

I'm all for a 'new normal' and as good Catholic boys I think a collective novena is a great idea to pray that things stay 'normal.' Lol.
