The way it looked when he hurt himself plus the amount of pain he was in, I thought he was done for the year. it was a nasty injury.

Probably not the smartest thing to try and come back as quick as he did. But maybe he wanted to play that bad.

Anyways, good luck to him in his future endevors. Seems like a good kid.

I know some people were saying this was LoVett 2.0, but Heron really went above and beyond to keep up the ruse over his fake injury prompted by losing too much, huh?

A great kid who left a top notch program, Auburn, to come home to be near his I’ll mother to a struggling program. He never caused a moment of trouble, went to class, was a leader both on and off the court, stayed when the entire coaching staff he knew was let go, worked his but off, played through injuries until he could take it no more.
This is a young man that I wish everything good life has to offer. I pray he sticks in the league and have no doubt he will succeed both on and off the court in the future.
I look forward to following him post St. John’s.

By all accounts a really high character kid. Maybe he gets lucky and lands in the right spot. But if not, hope he stays healthy and sees the world for the next 15 years.

What you wrote is really kind of self evident. He wanted to play better here. We wanted him to play better here. It didn't work out well, but his effort, desire, and attitude were never in question. Here is a kid who publicly via his Twitter feed was advocating for himself to get one more year of eligibility here, so he obviously wanted to come back, play and prove himself.

Wish him well.

Class act all the way. Wish him nothing but the best for the remainder of his playing days and pretty sure he will be very successful in his post basketball days.
