To be honest, Julian's brother was considered the better prospect. Now that doesn't mean Julian can't end up the better player when it's all said and done, but we knew or heard his brother was the better of the two.

Julian has to work on his shot in the offseason. I also wouldn't mind using him in the post as he has a good body. He may be more beneficial for us in the paint than he is out on the perimeter at this current juncture.

sad to be forced to face the reality of our consistent limitations.
we can appreciate the episodic excellent defense and enjoy the effort when it is working.
But as an overall basketball team, there are not enough other strengths to change the level of potential performance in the league.
Time to readjust expectation back to where I had it in October...just a rebuilding year with the likelihood of finishing last.

I’m afraid you are correct.

It seems to me that Heron was much more effective last year, at whatever weight he was . To me this year , he looks like a lot like a pro Boxer who has worn himself down to make the weight for his class . He played with more swagger last season . Perhaps it was Ponds making him look good but , he looks small to me this year . Plus , Heron didn’t lose this game by himself , he had a lot of help in the first half . Coach Anderson needs to bring in a top tier recruiting class for next season . Maybe more than 2-3 players We need a lights out shooter from 3 range . G’Town didn’t look too wilted from our defense . They put the ball in the bottom of the Net a lot . After 3 games this year , we know our defense alone isn’t going to get Wins in the BE.
