Grad transfer that will be immediately eligible.

With those # I’m shocked he didn’t get more than 20 minutes. Must have been a foul machine. But a name like that is worth the look alone.

Interesting....

Former MAAC defensive player of the year.
6'8" chiseled.
Appears to be an inside banger with hops.

I prefer Yor Anei personally. Need to be landing higher caliber players. I’d take this kid over not using the scholarship 100%. Still pulling for Anei though. He’d be more of a difference maker.

Yor is exactly the kind of player Texas seems to always have and we very very rarely have. If we finally get a true big with real major conference size who can block, rebound, and score while also running the court well, that could very well be the missing link assuming guard play is good like it usually is. I know a Xavier fan I'm friendly with and when I asked for the first thing that comes to mind about SJ, he said "Usually have good guards but no big men". I'll guess he lands at Texas and hopefully be pleasantly surprised when he comes to Queens :)

Both guys have heartwarming stories and seem like good citizens in-the-making.
Not sure if we'll show interest in Pauly, but I'd be happy with either.

I'm with MCNPA on this one. Yor Anei gives us two years with room for growth whereas the kid from Manhattan gives us one year of the same kind of stuff our other two big men will give us if healthy. If we are going to take a one year rental would prefer another wing who can shoot it a little. That is assuming Roberts is healthy.

One year rentals are useful only if they fill a glaring immediate need on your roster or if they are talented enough to step in and have an immediate significant impact on your team

Generally speaking, I would prefer a "multi year" transfer over a one year grad transfer
