Interesting comments on Steere. Sounds like MA is going to really want these guys in top physical condition. Not surprised by that. Guys just better not slack off in the summer. In my experience Mr. Steere was just given a not so subtle hint. :(

Not only does he say the right things but more importantly he backs it up by doing the right thing.
He is on campus with his staff and holding workouts while hosting visitors and recruiting. What a welcome relief from the prior staff who were 3,000 miles away as soon as school ended. I am no fortune teller but all this hard work has to pay dividends.

Someone who I know who is on campus a lot said the same thing as you. He used to say he was on Campus more than previous senior staff and he said he has seen CMA more this year than last senior staff all of last summer

While I am 100% sure this is the case at some point I hope we can move past this and remember Mullin the player. Because without him, I am not sure we have very much traffic on this website.

Of course.
And for those who idolized him as a player I hope they can separate the two as well. Far too often that wasn't the case.

Mikey is a real coach, not someone who took the job because it's his school, but doesn't really give a crap about coaching. He lives and breathes it. Everyday he's at work, including the summer.

CMA is the real deal, no more BS!

Hey if he didn't want to do everything he needed to as coach, then he shouldn't have asked for the freaking job.
He did it to himself.
