Very good piece. A nice read. Thanks Paultz.
Here's hoping Marcus will be on the Staff at some point.

I'll never forget the game Hatten had against Fordham in his first season with the Johnnies. He didn't shoot the ball well (still ended up with 30 or so points), but played a good, floor game and you could see he had that "It" factor (he was a master theft as he was one of the leader's in the nation per steals, and was a deceptive rebounder). I'll never forget telling one of my best friends during the latter stages of the game that the Johnnies had landed themselves a stud.

The thing I liked about that particular team is they were relentless on the boards and played solid defense. IMO, we don't have a Hatten-like player on the '19-'20 team, but we still have two pretty good players (Figueroa and Heron) returning. If we can get our top two or three players to ball out, and the rest of the team play their roles, along the team as a whole rebounding and playing D like 2001-2002 team then we may surprise. Solid team defense and rebounding can take a team a long way.

As, far as Hatton.... He was certainly fun as heck to watch.
