Ryan Odom has great potential. Young, successful at a difficult school to recruit and keep players, family coaching history. Get a nice mix of assistant coaches, ideally one that could potentially inherit the HC position in 4 or 5 years.

Regardless of who Cragg hires, there will be moaning. Some posters just love to be contrarian. No one on this board have been on the inside of this move to replace Mullin, but many sound like they are sitting in the room and know every detail. The vitriol on this board is sickening.

Odom would run to ACC job if successful

Don't k ow enough about some to say yes or no to. I just guess some you have to take a wait and see approach if hired.

I'm fine with that in 4 or 5 years, as long as we are grooming an AC to take the helm when he leaves. Reference Buffalo, which could have actually been US to some degree over the past 5 or 6 years

Does Moser bring Sister Jean ? I vote no on him. A lot of mediocrity and one great tournament run.

I like Odom and wouldn't be concerned about him leaving if he is hired. There are few lifetime contracts.

Ultimately Pitino is still the answer.

Now we're talking. The kind of guys that get hired elsewhere the year after we have an opening, win, and we wonder why we didn't pursue the year prior.

I like Odom a lot. Not sure about Moser, the final four actually scares me more than excites me. Interview Odom, Rhoades, & Cluess. Do not rush this at this point.

Does Odom leave after a year to take over at Wake Forest? Or even worse, turn us down now knowing that job will be open after next season?
