Can we post this grid with the highlighted threads at the beginning, below recruiting?

So, with Mikey gone and Ponds and Heron likely to go, we would have 1 Precious schollie open

I see what you did there.

And FWIW one thing that I go to JohnnyJungle for frequently is to look at their scholarship distribution table. Well done, kept current (already removed Dixon), and even easier to understand than the one Paultz posted. I'd post a link but I'd probably be relegated to rookie status.

Gotta think that Earlington leaves as well as Josh, otherwise why get Steer and Manuel, to go with Keita.
Need one for precious.

As others have said. Probably will loose Ponds and Heron, really need to keep Simon.

Barring some incredible finish, I don't see Heron getting an invite to the combine and certainky don't see him getting drafted this year. This is a LOADED SG/SF draft from top to bottom. He has ever reason to come back.

I'm certain the buzz around the team right now is that he is likely leaving but the same was true with Harrison before reality got him in the end.

Obviously, Mustapha wants to jump to the NBA. While current buzz still points that way, not to be mean--so far, i don't think NBA teams have him on their 1st or 2nd round Boards.
So, the question is, would he opt to go pro overseas, or return for his senior year to give it one final regular try to play himself into the NBA's cross hairs?
I don't know the answer, but he 'could' return.

The way I see it, he is a smart kid. He will probably graduate this spring, and opt to go through the G League to make his way into the NBA if he doesn't get drafted. With so few seniors being drafted every year, not sure it makes sense for him to stay another year of being drafted is his goal.

Given the fact that he was granted a waiver to play so he could be near his ill mom, I would think he would return to continue to be close to her.

During Mullins first 3 years ,a lot of opposing coaches pointed to the loosing record and would tell recruits Mullin can’t coach. Now w the increase in talent and winning that kind of negative recruiting can no longer be used.

Regarding Mustapha, still way too early in the year to definitively determine his draft prospects. Would anyone have guessed at the beginning of last year's BE season that Nova would have 4 guys go in the first 32 picks? If Johnnies have a great year, make some noise in the Dance and Heron & Ponds both shine they could easily both go in the first 2 rounds. If Mustapha is not going to get drafted, will just be a question of whether he's decided he's leaving to play professionally, whatever that means. Only those closest to him would know the answer to that one. Time will tell.
