Most of these top recruits were top recruits well before this "scandal" broke out. Based on their histories in the recruiting process they recognize it for what it is, BAU.

Wow. Very succinct and clear overview,. Thanks much Paultz.
Ironic this stuff may have been ‘legal’ but clearly violated NCAA rules big time.
Should we expect a massive NCAA pardon of all major violators...except a few lambs?

The investigation of this scandal and the trial already bears striking similarity to the Superfecta scandal involving likely fixed harness races in the 70's at Yonkers and Roosevelt Raceways. All the big time harness drivers in NY were initially indicted, but, in the end, the cases were dismissed and not one harness driver, except one guy who was a nobody who testified under immunity, was banned. Apparently millions were made from the fixed races, but only a few people got convicted, and neither was a harness driver. So if the races were fixed, who stiffed the horses, and who paid a price for stiffing them? No one. Same thing here. There will be a few peripheral players that will be convicted of something, but, for the rest, it will continue to be (dirty) business as usual.

ON a separate note Arizona signed another top 10 recruit today. This scandal is killing them.

Cleveland State bracing themselves as we speak. They might already be curled up in fetal position in corner of a room with the curtains drawn.

Per Zagoria at trial today;
Brian Bowen Sr. Said Christian Dawkins told him:

--Arizona offered $50,000
--Ok State $150K cash plus $ for a car plus $ for a house
--Texas wd help with housing
--Creighton $100,000 'and a lucrative job'
--On Oregon, he said "I don't recall" a financial offer.

I don't know all the details, which offers came from whom specifically, etc., but if I'm Book, there's no way I'm going down for Miller. I have a family, and I sing like a canary for them.
