No reason why we shouldn't finish in the top four?

Reason #1: Getting out rebounded in almost every conference game
Reason #2: While Kieta is on the bench, no answer for anyone over 220 lbs. in the paint.

Who do you realistically have ahead of us? Nova and Marquette are the ones that come to mind. everybody else will have huge questions marks to fill. The league lost a lot of talent this year.

With Diakite leaving, hopefully we are getting that grad big that we need. If we do wind up getting that guy then I agree we finish in the top 4. If we don't we lose a few more games do to lack of depth upfront especially if Keita gets in foul trouble. we'll see. Let's hope we get whoever they are targeting to take Diakite's place.

It's impossible, yet possible. Humongous talent drain this year. Also very few teams will have more than 1 legit big. We would have to play extraordinarily well, but AssumingPondsReturns (i'm just combining this into one word at this point) it's possible.

Also, DiVincenzo is a huge loss for Nova. Arguably not as a big a loss as Brunson, but huge. I'm not sure how you can claim to have watched our games vs. Nova the past 2 years or the NCAA tournament this year and think otherwise.

IF Ponds returns AND we get that Grad Big, consider me 100% Panglossian regarding next season. Time to drink the Kool-Aid!

I become very optimistic IF Ponds returns and we get that Grad Big.
I see us vying for the BEC Title and high seeding in the BET if that occurs.
IMO, we'd be in the hunt all season with Nova, Marquette, Providence, Butler, and us--battling for position, with G*town and maybe Xavier potential spoilers'.
Let's go Johnnies.

So tough to predict next year's BE with so many moving parts. I do think Marquette & Providence are in top 4. If both DeVincenzo & Spellman leave, hard to see Nova in top 2. For us, it all depends on Ponds and whether we get that second big. If both end up as yes, no reason we can't be in top 4. Butler will also be right there. Will be very competitive league.

Agree NCJohhnies. If deuces wild (Ponds & the Grad Big) prove out for us, we'll be contending all year for top spots in a very competitive league..
Would be fun to watch.
