I guess you're being chicken little too. In all seriousness, Wagner has some physical bigs who have offensive skill, can rebound well, and they have some crafty guards who have made some pretty tough shots. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go down to the wire against them, but obviously I'd prefer to slaughter them.

Nova up 61-37 vs. Army. Shooting the ball great from 3. They look very energetic with high basketball IQ and great team ball as usual. Jay Wright is a stud.

I know these opponents aren't good, but still, impressive performance by the Big East so far. Beating the lines.

I'll echo the previous thoughts about Seton Hall. They look like a legit top 15 team. They're HUGE and they have Powell. The massive Florida State transfer playing center means Mamushkeveli (not looking up the spelling...) can play the 4 now which is where he belongs. Their Freshman Samuel is long and athletic and looks like he'll be a good one soon and even Gill looked much better. I don't really know how we hang with them. Hopefully Steere will stay conditioned and get his sea legs under him quickly because we'll need him and Roberts to both log big minutes in those games. We'll even need all 5 of Damien Sears' fouls. And even if we can handle them down low we have to hope someone who isn't Justin Simon can hold Powell to a reasonable amount of points. Tall order.

And yes they lost by 30 but I also agree that Wagner team is well coached and scrappy. Hall was never in danger but this was competitive for 30 minutes. We play them in a couple of weeks. Hopefully we don't sleep walk into that one.

The other game I watched was Nova...Jay Wright continues to be Jay Wright. Freshman Robinson-Earl is the real deal. He turned the ball over a few times but other than that he's going to be a problem. Freshman of the year. 1st team all conference. If he's not a one and done he's probably the front runner for Big East POY next season. Yes I'm saying this after one game. It's the first week of the season which is the perfect time for overreactions.

Fallout from Seton Hall tampering with former Syracuse forward Taurean Thompson could continue:
