Can someone write a consolidated review of the incoming guys and what we can reasonably expect?

Right now we have:

Ponds
Dixon
Simon
Trimble
Williams
Diakite
Clark
Keita
Earlington
J. Roberts

I have no problem with this roster if we are going to get decent contributions from both Diakite and Roberts. As per the people on this board who are in the know, that doesn't seem like it's the case. So, that's why we need a grad transfer big. If Diakite and Roberts , or even Earlington were farther along in their development, this ten man roster would be fine. Maybe one or two of those three will surprise us.

Ok, thanks I was missing Roberts. Just wanted to get a feel for what we had prior to any additions .

We may be missing Ponds and Trimble.

yes why are people counting Ponds as returning? right now he has announced his intention to explore the NBA draft. I would at least put a question mark next to his name.

Don't get me wrong. Shamorie is our best player by far, a great college player and i think--despite lacking ideal NBA 'size'--has a game that could transform to the NBA.
But, he needs to work on his skills, establish 3-pt consistency (25% this season), finish better in transition, turning steals into buckets, and put some oomph and consistency into his D.
IMO, he needs one more year.
I think he'll be told that by NBA professionals.

I think given his future plans, you dip your toe into the water at no risk, and get an idea as to what the NBA and agents think of you. It also prepares you slightly for when you finally do submit to the draft for real

Major updates were made to the servers / software hosting redmen.com. There was also one significant change to the website this week to address keeping up with current standards and practices.

It has now become standard practice for all websites to be served as https (as opposed to the original http).

A couple of years ago I enabled https on the site as optional but as of today, the site is forcing https. Any link coming into the site should be automatically converted on the fly and you should not have to do anything on your end.
