excellent point Beast and we are all going to do a game when I get back from vacation. I’ll look at weekend afternoon games and we will look at some options August or September

Just think as the weather warms the evenings: a plethora of cheap seats on stubhub, even on nights where deGrom or Thor pitch

Hey mj. Was going to suggest the same. On my way to Ireland and france at end of month. Lets plan for when we are back.

Dublin and Paris ? Going to Belfast at all ?

Familia fails once again. And to think I was going to post that the Mets trade him for some young talent. God knows our farm system is in dire need of help. If this disaster continues Citifield will be a grave yard.

You have nothing to decide. I have you covered. We did both. Normandy from a historical perspective was great. We really loved it. We ddi a one day tour from Paris

BUT we also did one day tour to Loire Valley small tour like 6 of us and it was absolutely awesome. Went to maybe 4 or 5 wineries but small ones where there basically weren't even tasting rooms we were the only ones there. Sancerre is awesome !!! Went to a winery where the owner literally had to stop and take a delivery off a truck himself thats how small the vineyard was and the wine was absolutely amazing

here is the tour company that took us from Paris

Familia had some help today. Rosario booted a ground ball. He is more suspect than prospect. They gave the guy a hit but that play should have been made. He also struck out on 3 pitches with the bases loaded right before the booted grounder. I hate to say it but I have little to no faith that Alderson would bring back anything of value for Familia or any other player. Last year he traded Bruce, Granderson, Reed, Duda, etc. and acquired 7 minor league RHP. None of whom are really helping the Mets this year and are suspects at best. Honestly all he did was save money and not get value in return.

Agree about Rosario and Alderson. Not impressed with his defense or free swinging. Houston would probably be interested in Familia, especially since they are badly in need of a closer.

Interesting that Nimmo met with batting coach, Roessler, on his off day. They discovered he was swinging underneath the ball. Well a few days earlier Keith Hernandez claimed that Nimmo was dropping his back shoulder and swinging underneath the ball. Is it me or do you think both Hernandez and DArling could take over as hitting and pitching coaches.?

That would cost the Mets too much money.

 Just got home from Chase Field watching the Mets lose tonight against the D'backs. Can't blame Callaway for the poor offense but can blame him for his continuous bone head pitching decisions. Robles looked good through one and two thirds innings until he gives up a walk with two out. Out comes brainless Callaway to bring in Blevins who can't get lefthanders out. Sure enough he gives up a hit followed by a hit batsmen. Out he goes and in comes Seawald who proceeds to walk in a run. No reason to remove Robles. Why bring Rhames in the eight in a close game to widen the D'back lead when you have Swarzak or Gsellmen.. Callaway is overmatched as manager.

I grew up in Atlanta, so I'm probably the only Braves fan here. I really enjoyed the rivalry during the late 90s. The crazy John Rocker era haha. Unfortunately, ever since then the teams have never been competitive during the same year. I went to a game at Citi earlier this year vs the Braves, and it seemed the rivalry was back. Now it's looking unlikely, but I want to see the Mets return to form. I prefer the Mets rivalry to the others. Good luck to the Mets, aside from when they play the Braves.
