However a versatile guy like this who has some shooting and all around ability would make for a nice 3-person class. Hope we're in his ear.

TBF with the new transfer rule coming there is no last piece to the class. More will happen. Bet the house. Just law of averages.

Per Zach B; Zoom with St Johns Thursday per Jake #sjubb

The nation’s hottest-recruit? Mustapha Amzil. He’s only been in the United States for two weeks and leads a very busy recruitment, he discussed it with @Stockrisers.

Blue blood interest, choosing college over the pros, new offers, upcoming calls, and more.

Can he grab the last scholarship this year or is that out of the question?

Aside from knowing that Pitt plays a high level of basketball, Amzil admits that because he’s new to the country, he’s not that familiar with Pitt or any of the other programs that have offered him. But now that he’s here and is getting heavily recruited, he plans on doing much research on all of these schools.

“This last couple of weeks has been awesome,” said Amzil. “I came here one and a half weeks ago and got my first offer on the second or third day. Now, I have six or seven offers from some very good schools. It’s honestly been overwhelming. I was thinking that I could and eventually earn some offers, but I never thought they’d be coming this fast.”

“Before making my decision to come here, I was deciding whether to attend high school in the United States or stay another year in Finland. My family and I decided that I wanted to go to college and that I’d get more exposure if I came to the states for my senior year. Originally, I was supposed to attend a school in New Jersey with Tim Thomas and Kerry Kittles but because of the coronavirus, that wasn’t possible. So, a friend of my family helped me and a couple of other Finnish guys find a school. We found out about First Love and I’m very happy that things turned out this way.”
