We've had Owens and we've had Keita.

If Curry splits the difference in production from those two, sure why not take him?

Splitting the difference between someone who played in the bubble with someone who posters on this board don't remember leaves a pretty big window. LOL

West Virginia remains one of key SJU competitors for Curry. SJU working hard on this one is my impression. Two horse race?

Larry Harrison has West Virginia in mix for juco forward Carlos Curry - Dominion Post

By Keenan CummingsMORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia basketball program already has a pair of commitments in the 2021 recruiting class, but the work is not quite done yet. Apair of Ohio guards in Kobe Johnson and Seth Wilson are already in the fold, but the coaching staff has been working on a number of other options in the frontcourt. One of those is Carlos Curry.

I know it's not CMA's style, but this is the type of kid I'd guarantee huge minutes to immediately. We have always been guard U...plenty of those to go around. But 7 footers don't grow on trees. We don't need him to do everything...we need him to alter shots, block shots, rebound, and dunk/put back. This is the type of kid we will need to really take the next step IMO for next yr. If our guards do really well this year and we miss on this, we will probably still have a gaping hole for a true big which would hold us back.

I watched some clips of him. Seems very quick and agile for a big man with a shot blocker mentality. Might be another under the radar player similar to Julian.
