Calling on Dink for his thoughts on this kid playing ball in Greenville, SC. Seems to be a kid we could have a chance for even though we're a little late to the game.

I'm familiar with Legacy, but I've never seen Legacy in action. I'm about 110 miles southwest of Greenville. Cornish's team did participate in this past season's Chick-fil-A Classic but I never got the chance to watch 'em in action.

There are a couple of folks I know who may be familiar with his game.

I saw Cornish of Legacy at the Slam Dunk to the Beach against Posh, Wusu etc of Our Savior. Our Savior made a late surge to send it to overtime and eventually won.
Cornish looked very good to me. Fine shooter, active, scored about 20. Legacy is an excellent team, shared the ball, so getting 20 is a fine achievement.

Kid looks like a great athlete who can handle and shoot the ball.

Odd that he had a final list of 8, seemed ready to make a decision and we get added. I would be happy to have him aboard though.

Hopefully it’s a sign that we are actually a player in this, and not just a courtesy add.

Any connection to whatever AAU activities Hatten may be involved with?

I believe Hatten is at Team Thrill and Cornish has played for team Melo and Maybe Team Durant, but Baltimore isn’t very big so I’d be surprised if we weren’t hitting up Mo Hatten connections now and in the future. Hatten wants to rise up the coaching ladder and having a recruiting connect like him in Baltimore could be more than helpful.
