Per Pat Lawless

Dylan Wusu, a class of 2020 SG from @OSLBasketball (NY)/@NY_Lightning, has picked up offers from St. John’s & Wagner.

Van Macon is lead recruiter for DW & Posh Alexander btw.

Dylan Addae-Wusu – Yonkers, NY

SG | 6-foot-4 | 155 lbs | Not Ranked

St. John’s offered Dylan Wusu in late-June and they remain one of the top programs in contention for his commitment. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is a New York native and brings plenty of versatility to the table. He rebounds exceptionally well for his position and also can burst to the rim with explosiveness. He is not currently ranked by the 247Sports Composite and St. John’s is the only Power-6 team to offer him a scholarship. With that said, though, he is well-built and has the potential to be a solid contributor at the college level. He also competed alongside current SJU commit Posh Alexander on the EYBL circuit. He averaged 11.9 points (.456/.339/.851), 5.2 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game and was quite productive at the Peach Invitational. He could easily continue his college career alongside his EYBL backcourt partner in Alexander.

Looks solid in photos. I think those numbers are wrong.

He's built like a truck. I think he's vastly underrated. Another kid that played well throughout the summer locally. I see him as maybe a fallback option if we don't land Richmond. Perhaps?
