Wusu clearly will be a very good piece of the puzzle over four years. Patience in year one for most freshmen adapting to BE level seems prudent imo. Glad they recruited him, kid works hard apparently.

coachpete_osl OSL National Defeated ISA/Andrews Academy 87-71 in the Hoops for Care / Bash with the Bronx in Pittsburgh, PA. Dylan Wusu - 29pts, 6rebs, 3asts, 2stls, Posh Alexander - 22pts, 8asts, 8rebs, 1stl, Jaquan Sanders - 12pts, 7asts, 2rebs, Ibine Sadiku - 12pts, 4rebs, 2asts. OSL National is now 6-0 in the Great Atlantic Conference, 5-1 in @therealgrindsession , and 27-3 Overall. Next game is SENIOR NIGHT at OSL, Wednesday 2/12 against Bridgeport Prep at 5pm. Not only that but the kid can obviously score in lots of ways which we need. He will essentially be replacing Heron who has become only a jump shooter. Wusu is much more physical than Heron and while maybe not the same level shooter, should be able to give us a big guard who can do a lot of things including rebound and score inside and out. Physically he’s incredibly strong looking as well.

Built solid but is he quick enough for Anderson's system and is he 6'3, 6'4 or really just 6'2?

He doesn’t look slow at all to me. I missing something? Those clips are pretty limited to jumpshots and a cut or two to the hoop. Dwight Hardy was a combo who also wasn’t super fast etc but we’ve had success with strong guards that could use their bodies. We’ve had much less talented guards like Stanley, Fordham who caused lots of trouble for people. If he can shoot, it keeps everybody honest and it seems he’s at least decent in that area.

I don't think the strength and conditioning coach needs to worry about this guy.

Seriously, both he and Posh are jacked.
I've rarely seen high school players with that kind of build.
That takes a ton of weight room work and the right diet to do that at 18.

Would be nice if they could add a few inches height-wise.
