Every time I see DC area forward Myles Stute play, I like him. He was one of the most efficient players in the camp. The 6-7 forward dropped three's left and right. I think he's one of the best steal recruits in the class here on the East Coast.

I have a friend who went to the same high school as him and has seen him play. He described him as super athletic and can play both inside and outside well. Also said he has gotten better every year. Mentioned he is interested in Georgetown so we will see what happens.

Stute is not too far behind with his own offer count thanks to his shot-making and toughness in the frontcourt. The plan is for the Team Takeover product to cut his list once the Nike Peach Jam completes next month before then taking all of his official visits in August and signing in November. Iowa, Iowa State, St. John’s, and Texas A&M each offered within the past five days, and the hope now is for Stute to get to the campuses at Clemson, Florida, Georgetown and Pitt sometime soon.

Evans: I’d have to side with Myles Stute. No, he is not a high-rising athlete or a giant for his position on the floor, but he is a competitive combo forward prospect that can do a litany of things.

Take for instance the NBPA Top 100 Camp earlier this month. Stute knew the platform that was presented for him with the college coaches being able to evaluate the event for the first time. He then went out and made a handful of catch-and-shoot jumpers, defended different positions and finished with sneaky athleticism at the basket. Because of it, his recruitment has blown up.

Within the past two weeks alone, Boston College, Iowa, Iowa State, St. John's, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt all have offered. Expect for Stute to trim his list after the Nike Peach Jam in a few weeks before then taking a handful of visits throughout the month of August which would lead to a signing in November.

@PhillyLive2019 did a phenomenal job this week. Great organization and talent. Philip Wheeler boosted stock. Quincy Allen had the coaching masses talking the greatest. Not many drew more eyes than Myles Stute. Chance Westry a name to know in 2022

Myles Stute has taken another step towards his college decision. Following a tremendous showing this summer on the camp and travel circuit, Stute has narrowed his college list to a final seven.

A 6-foot-7 rising senior that can play either forward position, Stute has accrued over 20 scholarship offers. However, he felt the time was right to zero in on a select group that now consists of Clemson, Florida, Marquette, Pitt, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
