Watched him a bit recently on video & must say he reminds me a bit of Andre Barrett, savvy past first point guards. Sorry article is behind a pay wall, but tweet says enough.

I’m curious if prioritizing AC means anything about how our recruitment of JG is trending?
Both are pure PGs.

As we learned in 2 out of 3 of Coach Mullins seasons you can’t have enough good pgs. Hope we never forget. Great to see we are involved with 3 good to very good pgs for 2020 in Curbelo, Koulibaly and Artest. And more importantly it seems we are in very good shape with all three.

Think Artest could play alongside a point guard as well.

We’re also recruiting 2019 James Bishop, a CG, out of Baltimore and in the AAU program that Marcus Hatten just joined.
I’m guessing for guard depth if JG slips away.
And btw, Andre Curbelo might love playing with Figgy.
Regardless, it’s great we’re in the mix with a pack of top recruits.
Looking good.
Let’s go Johnnies.

Bishop in play, we’ll see on Gaffney. The latter recruitment has been odd.

I guess just more evidence of vagaries of college recruiting. A few months back, it seemed we were in better shape with Gaffney than any of our 2019 recruits. Be that as it may, I'm still optimistic regarding 2019 & 2020 as we are putting ourselves in position to sign some solid recruits. Got to believe if we keep doing that we will get a couple, especially if team looks good to start the coming season. Here's hoping NCAA doesn't drag its feet forever on MH application.

I can see worrying about recruiting for the same class but recruiting a pg in different classes, why would anyone ever be worried about that and more importantly worried that another recruit in a different class reading into that.
