Met Mike at the Dallas airport on my way home from the Cotton Bowl.

A very nice fellow.

Mike attended Gus Alfieri's summer basketball camp when he was at Chaminade.

Starting with that Super Bowl that was the first year I became a sports fan, reading the Newsday sport pages from start to finish every afternoon and then attending my first big sporting event, opening day at Shea, on my 7th birthday. (showing my age). It was a great year running through to the Knicks championship run in 1970.
