St. John's played Fordham even in the second half, but a 16-point halftime deficit proved too much to overcome as the Red Storm lost, 73-57, at Rose Hill Gym on Wednesday. Felix Balamou (Conakry, Guinea) matched a career-high with 14 points and dished out a team-best five assists to pace St. John's (4-3), while Christian Jones (Arlington, Texas) finished with 11 points and five rebounds.
