Boone needs to send a message that Bird, Sanchez and Stanton need to start producing if they wanna bat 3-4-5. This lineup will be flat out terrifying once those three guys figure it out in the regular season.

I know about Stanton potential, and his 59HRS & winning the mvp last year.

Right now though, at this point, he sucks.
Down 2-0, maybe the 6th inning?, a guy on, 3-2count and 2 outs, the pitch is over the plate, but he just looks at it.
Trying to work a walk? How about swing the damn bat?

Stanton has 15 HRs and 34 RBIs, not exactly sucking.

Yeah I know his stats, but still takes to many called strikes, if it's close then swing at it.

The player I'm most concerned about right now is Sanchez. He seems to have lost it both at the plate and behind the plate. I don't know what the solution is.

Agree. And sometimes that's the hardest place to fix.

Wow I can't type

Is it me or is gleyber in the field really annoying?
Ground ball to 2nd he tries to grab it instead of letting Didi who was going towards 1st get it. Error
Then with judge coming in with the much easier play, gleyber runs all the out to make a tough catch, he's lucky he caught that
WTFFFFFFFFFF

Fixed.

He's a rookie, give him some time.

I think they should send Sanchez down to Tampa for a week and work intensively with coaches. He needs to get his confidence back offensively and defensively. He also needs someone to talk to him. I think the time spent making the adjustments with him will be time well spent.

Tonight's a big night for Gray. Here are his stats at Yankee Stadium and on the road:

ERA W L SV SVO GP GS CG IP H R ER HR BB SO AVG
Home 7.22 2 2 0 0 6 6 0 28.2 35 23 23 6 19 24 .294
Away 2.83 2 2 0 0 6 6 0 35.0 28 11 11 1 11 34 .217

If he has another bad game tonight, I'd be happy to never have him pitch again at home.

Sorry for the formatting. In edit mode, all the numbers line-up. Hope you can read this.

torres is a below average fielder and 21 years old.

his defensive strength is chasing down balls that normally would drop in front of a center fielder. he covers ground. goes back well. has speed.
