I know that there is still a big step that must be taken, but I’m feeling so much better about the road trip with my wife (a Duke alum) for the scheduled game against Duke at Cameron. This really could be an extremely fun and exciting team — the trio of Ponds, Heron and Simon is ridiculous. And, that’s not even including LJ and Dixon.

Happy to hear that they plan to submit papers ASAP and are contemplating retaining counsel. We’ve learned how slow and arbitrary the NCAA can be (remember the Sanchez debacle). Legal and basketball approach overlap — full court pressure!!!

Who knows, but.....just sayin'.

I hear you JohnnyFan. That's usually the way with us--but not this time.
We're on a roll, man!
I can feel it.
Also, total guess but the Herons are smart folks and I bet they did some prep work on Mustapha's chances to get a waiver.
It's not so much that the odds are long, it's that the NCAA has been inconsistent in its decisions on the hardship rule, so there's no transparency.
That said, it looks like the transfer rules are in the process of changing, with the committee set to vote this June on 'academic exceptions' and other sidebars to allow D1 football and basketball athlete's to more easily transfer.
This hardship rule may become a piece of the puzzle.
Who knows.
We can hope.

Reminds me of a feeling I had about twenty years ago when I was on campus for a visit and wound up with a poster that said "Back Among the Elite".

St. Arnulf of Metz - Bishop & member of the court of the Frankish king Theodebert II of Austrasia. A noble, Arnulf married Doda & their son was Ansegisel. Ansegisel married Beggia, the daughter of Pepin of Landen, starting the Carolingian dynasty.

Is the staff change happening next or am I just getting greedy?

Per Rothstein
Nevada and St. John’s have again proven in the last 24 hours that transfers are more than a capable way to build a program. Very similar to Iowa State under Fred Hoiberg. #SJUBB

Favorable press on the transfer route.
How about that?!?
Goes to show, when you're on a roll, you're on a roll.

And BTW, major first rate stellar kudos to Matt A for being honed in.
The guy seems to be forever 'prospecting'.
Thanks Matt A!!!
