No doubt that Thomas looks like the better player right now. However, before saying Jones means nothing, remember that it behooves us to get more than one or two freshman on the court this year. Otherwise, we suffer through the "youngest team in America" theme for a second season under Lavin.

thomas will have 2 and maybe 3 years of eligibility

If we only land Thomas, make the Dance this year & get an outstanding 15 class, are you still going to go on and on about Lavin? As you may know I'm not a big fan of the Coach, but if we dance & get great 15 group, I can live with the rebuild.

Slightly put off by your phrasing, but I'll assume you meant to ask if I would still be dissatisfied. The answer is....if he continues to "coach" in the manner he has throughout his whole career, I will still be advocating for the program to move in a different direction. After all, two years ago, I would not have imagined being so unhappy with a 20 win season. However, the details of the season were incredibly inexplicable.

Regardless, the details of your hypothetical seem (to me) extremely unlikely to occur.

And then he should be judged accordingly.

I would consider revisiting this kid. He ultimately did not qualify and is at a JUCO.

Thanks for the update. Was wondering about this kid since it seemed we lost out on him in part because we signed Keith Thomas. Liked what I saw and read about him. Might me a nice pick up as a Sophomore if he gets his grades in order.
