Paultz keep in mind though that Jalen also projects to a different position, point guard. I love the way he sees the floor and that he picks up 94 feet defensively. Whether St. John's stays in the hunt for his AAU teammates or not they need to recruit long athletic wings. It's where the game is headed at all levels. Defenders can't put their hands on guys anymore so quickness and length is how teams must compensate.

That was a Steve Lavin preference in his first two seasons......Harkless, Sampson, Pointer, Obekpa, Pelle, Garrett.
Then in his laziness he gambled on players even less academically qualified than Pelle with players like Keith Thomas and the Gordo Adonis DeLarosa. In the end he was reduced to recruiting preferred walk ons after striking out with major targets.

2019 @WTbbasketball PG Jalen Gaffney (@thefuture12__) was a great watch with 30 points and 10 assists vs Hun (NJ) School tonight. High IQ type of PG that had no problem penetrating to score or create. I expect more high major offers for this talented PG

At @PSACardinals Showcase:
Archbishop Molloy five-star duo Cole Anthony (21p 5a 9r 3s) and Moses Brown (19 & 8)

Posh Alexander - 15p, 7a, 3s
Jalen Gaffney - 21 & 9

Gaffney would be a great get by SJU with kids like Lewis & Antoine probably out of reach. He is maturing physically, has solid grades & playing well v top competition in my opinion.
