I'm not picturing it being a lot. But definitely enough to afford a Eurail pass, so he will have a fun, fun time if he is curious at all about things beyond basketball.

I am always curious about overseas salaries. It's not easy to find information on it.

Since it's a mystery, I'll think of it in some ways like a cruise ship job..

Pay your own way to get there, low job pay, crappy room & board, meeting new people you never truly get to know in a second language, working nights/ weekends, party in off hours at an undisclosed bar, sex, until the contract is up in a few months and they fly you back on their dime.

Wish Durand luck and hopefully it turns out well for him and family.

I'm guessing that since many US college players come from very little, their plane tix are paid for and the housing is provided. Depending on the league you play in and how good you are, I'm guessing you can at least pay your expenses, see Europe (or Asia, South America, etc) and get to keep playing ball and the dream alive to play in the NBA. Nothing wrong with that at all. I'm pretty sure top level Euro players in the best leagues can be paid quite well, but I'd expect Durand to get a paycheck, socre more points than he did in college, and enjoy life. I hope it all works well for him, and perhaps his year at SJU was a good audition for that. I hope so.

Read somewhere that a second division team in Switzerland would pay about $3k per month after taxes plus accommodation. Not great but certainly enough to live on.
There have been nearly 3000 Gods so far but only yours actually exists. The others are silly made up nonsense. But not yours. Yours is real.
