BREAKING: Lamont Evans of Oklahoma State and Chuck Person of Auburn University are two of the coaches charged in corruption scheme.

Familiar name

BREAKING MORE: Emanuel Richardson of Arizona is also a coach who has been charged in the corruption scheme according to court docs.

I would expect this to just be the start of something bigger. These coaches and managers/advisors are going to drop names of many others involved to try and help their case.

Also, hopefully they come down the hardest on UofL and Pitino. How many times can he get caught breaking the rules without being punished?


When the execs of the NCAA start making Equifax exits then we'll know there is some progress being made. How about a collusion charge between UNC and these guys? Roy Williams and Kevin Ollie in the same cell. One can dream...

I know it's not the same crime, but after Madoff, America has no tolerance for this sort of thing. Fraud, or ponzi schemes, or anything of that nature, generally gets the book thrown at you now, if you are found guilty.
