True but McGregor is playing a part - consciously. That said most high level MMA guys in the class would destroy Mayweather in MMA. but in boxing seems to me that McGregor is in it just for the big publicity which he is capitalizing on regardless of whether it ever happens. Same with White.

He's definitely capitalizing. White is a prick and also the same. Just hate when people liken mma to WWE.

Andre really got hit by Wepner though and was legitimately pissed by the end of the match. Picked him up and threw him.

Anyone who follows Conor on FB he is all about the money. So is Mayweather. Conor would kill him in a street fight. Now I dont follow mma like MCN but I watch enough of it. Conor was out of his weight against Diaz. Saw him wreck Alvarez at MSG ( my first UFC fight in person ) and was stunned when he backed up his talk and clobbered Aldo.

He talks a lot of shit but he mostly backs it up. But Mayweather will toy and destroy him and I hate Mayweather. This is all about the payday because Conor likes to live large and act like his paydays are bigger than they are and this will be his biggest ever

As a life long boxing fan, and die hard UFC/MMA fan, unless Mayweather has lost a step which happens to all fighters eventually (see Roy Jones), Mayweather wins by decision in disappointing fashion by tagging Conner for 12 rounds with meaningless punches and dodging any attack from the inexperienced boxer. In the end it'll prove that although boxing was once the tell-all of "whose the greatest", MMA is superior in determining who is the better fighter. Unless they bring back the 50 round fight, ie, KOs required, 12 round fights by lighter fighters are too short in determining greatness.

Far more entertaining than Inoki giving Ali blood clots in his calves. And likely more so than Conor/Mayweather.

And I know that MMA is different than WWE. Far more bloodlust in MMA fans, far more entertainment in WWE. Just saying this match is a ridiculous gimmick designed to screw consumers and make a few folks even richer.
There have been nearly 3000 Gods so far but only yours actually exists. The others are silly made up nonsense. But not yours. Yours is real.

I still don't see how they make he money work. The UFC probably came up with a split of their share with conor but they still need negotiate their split with Floyd. Floyd is goinG if to argue that Conor deserves 20% of what I am.

If a deal doesn't get done by next week the UFC needs to stop this and tell conor he is defending his belt in September. I can't stand this Conor not defending his belt crap. If he fights floyd they will make an interim title fight and if Conor comes back he will want some ridiculous big money fight like GSP or the welterweight title. As much as I dislike Conor he has played the UFC like no one else before so props to him.

I think Roy Jones demise was that he went up to heavy weight to fight John Ruiz, then went back to 175 months later. Losing all that weight and muscle takes a tremendous toll on your body. He then got Ko'd by Antonio Tarver soon after, and is still fighting a decade after. I don't think MMA is superior at determining the better fighter, I just think they are better match makers. The top guys just don't lose in either sport very often. Jon Jones, Anderson Silva during his run, Mighty Mouse, Dom Cruz; in Boxing Mayweather, Roy Jones of the 90's, Manny Pacquiao, Andre Ward, Bernard Hopkins. I think it's way more common to see a top MMA fighter lose than I top boxer because they have to account for much more. A young talented fighter like Cody Garbrandt will lose way before a young talented boxer like Vasyl Lomachenko ever does again.
