Very, very sad to hear.

John was a classy, knowledgeable, well-liked, and well-respected part of Knicks broadcasts for a long, long time ... and one helluva nice guy.

Very knowledgeable and articulate color man for the Knicks for many years
Labeled a great guy by Lupica, Isola and other NY writers
He will be missed by New York basketball fans
RIP John

Yes Bay Ridge, Brooklyn near the Verrazano Bridge - a few times I'd see him
In the local diner - always friendly and willing to talk basketball with anyone!
Blessings in this time of sadness and loss. Not easy to lose someone you love AND
"He lived a long Life"
does NOT help soothe the pain.

all the best
