Yukon has a regular season of 14 & 16 and 8 & 8 in the irrelevant American Athletic Conference.

Yukon's men's basketball is seemingly becoming less relevant each year it is in the American.

Yukon has no geographic rival in the American Conference to keep the fans interested (see Yukon vs. Tulsa = yawn.).

I fully support admitting Yukon into the Big East as a full member PROVIDED it agrees to a backbreaking exit fee, AND an assignment of its media rights for a 20 year period which is similar to the assignment which the ACC required of its members.

If Yukon does not agree to the strict terms then IMO it can wither in the irrelevant American Athletic Conference as its fans foolishly dream of invites to the AAC and the Big Ten.

You can't trust them to pay an exit fee. I would only take them once they take the steps to reduce scholarships in football and join the CAA or wherever Umass and these other schools waste their tax payers money.

UMASS is currently a Football Independent.

Yukon needs a geographic rival in the AAC and Wichita State isn't their answer.

My gut tells me that regardless of whether Wichita is in the Missouri Valley, or the American Atlantic Athletic Conference that Coach Marshall will someday get a job offer he can't refuse and leaves Wichita State thereby casting a cloud over its marketability.

He's already making $3 million and gets all the perks he asks for there. His family loves the city and the school. Honestly, I think he leaves that job for Duke, Carolina, and Kentucky and that's it. Maybe Indiana but I have my doubts on that one. Plus he's built WSU up to the the point where it's a desirable job. I don't think they slip much if he leaves.

Also, I'd like to see Wichita here so Creighton has a buddy.

Set up a two Division Conference with Wichita and UConn added, home and home in your own Division is ten games, alternate year home and away in the other Division is six games, actually might work better with seven teams in each Division yielding a 19 game conference schedule, adding Dayton and St. Louis.

Founder's Division: STJ, Georgetown, Providence, Villanova, UConn, Dayton,
Seton Hall

Greeley Division: Wichita St., Creighton, Xavier, Marquette, St. Louis, DePaul,
Butler
