I'm against Yukon's return. We don't need to give them more NYC exposure to help them recruit.

must be a done deal since Yukon is officially stating that the rumor is not true.

Watching Cincy blow our UConn at home. It just shows how much UConn needs the Big East.

I'm in agreement with fellow Johnny fans who don't want to see UConn back in the league that brought them access to the recruits that led to their historic success.

The reason they are coming back is that Fox and the schools see that the money pot only grows if the league keeps growing. Despite the success of the league on the basketball court, this week will likely show how the current make-up of the league is not enough to match the excitement of the past tournaments.

Adding this one team allows us to keep the schedule of playing each school two times while growing the league and adding a program that has a better recent hoops history than anyone including Duke. It is a huge win for the prestige of the league. A no brainer.

The only thing - and we all know what it is - you cant trust these UConn pricks.

Val and Stu Jackson need to convince UConn and their politicians to make a concrete step to de-emphasize football by going down a notch to where Nova resides. Besides, it is the right move for the state of Connecticut anyway.

They will never cut it in big time college football. Many other Universities and Colleges will realize it in the coming years as the financial losses and bad publicity of contributing to dementia rates pile up.

Yukon has a regular season of 14 & 16 and 8 & 8 in the irrelevant American Athletic Conference.

Yukon's men's basketball is seemingly becoming less relevant each year it is in the American.

Yukon has no geographic rival in the American Conference to keep the fans interested (see Yukon vs. Tulsa = yawn.).

I fully support admitting Yukon into the Big East as a full member PROVIDED it agrees to a backbreaking exit fee, AND an assignment of its media rights for a 20 year period which is similar to the assignment which the ACC required of its members.

If Yukon does not agree to the strict terms then IMO it can wither in the irrelevant American Athletic Conference as its fans foolishly dream of invites to the AAC and the Big Ten.

You can't trust them to pay an exit fee. I would only take them once they take the steps to reduce scholarships in football and join the CAA or wherever Umass and these other schools waste their tax payers money.
