Hire her! Irrespective of the record, perhaps AA, Yakwe and Owens would've toughened up.

If we can get a player like lewis or Antoine and cockburn by hiring Rice I say go for it . He did his penance can not see him making a mistake given the chance to get back into coaching. It maybe the boost needed to get our recruiting to the next level.
But beside that I think Coach would be intimidated that he might show he up and therefore pass. Just an opinion which can be wrong. Think the slice situation and shadows of that ANY HOW WE ALL ARE TRYING TO GRAB WHATEVER HELP CAN PROBELL US TO THE TOP

I confess that I do not have the knowledge or insight into why that is. To some he seems to be a panacea for all that supposedly ails our program and to others he simply has too much baggage to invest in him coming here. Regardless I am still confused as to why his name pops up so often. Is this a real serious possibility for St. John's or just a prolonged fantasy that people are obsessed with?

Putting aside his antics, for which he has done penance, he was doing a good job at Rutgers and previously at Robert Morris. So, he had a bit of track record, is a local name and has ties to some good kids. Hence his name coming up repeatedly.

Plus he has that STJ connection after going to the John Lucas Center for anger management together with D'Lo.

Was really impressed with the play of '19 Team Rio (NJ) guard Jalen Gaffney. Has been great in the open floor with his burst of speed. @TheHoopGroup

I’m open to it, but is Mullin open to it?
There’s modest buzz on this Board about D’Lo coming in—which I also favor.
Obviously, it’s one or the other if either.
Adding either guy, involves a dramatic change in the Staff’s structure.
Again, is Mullin even considering such a move?
Is Mullin considering a 2nd recruiter or any kind of a change in the Staff’s structure?
I would urge that he does—but will he?
If not, maybe we should just stress about which players we can recruit here—given our situation.

If DLo comes on board...I'd guess it would be as a volunteer ala Zendon Hamilton.

D’Lo stuff has no basis.

The staff change rumored is clearly a matter of whether or not CM wants it.

Guess Dlo doesn't like living overseas? He's in the top 10 in scoring in the top league in Israel and only 3 years out of school. Would have to assume he has a long relatively lucrative career of overseas hoops inhis future if he wants it. Zendon wasn't even paid so there is an income differential there, but Zendon has an NBA pension in his future.
